Ray Engineering Group, LLC, was formed in January, 2000, as a successor to Ray Engineering Group, Inc. which was originally founded in January 1985, by Thomas L. Ray, PE, and has operated continuously since that time.

Ray Engineering Group, LLC, provides complete electrical engineering, lighting design and drafting services for commercial, institutional, telecommunication and light industrial projects. Our client list includes architectural firms, commercial developers and building owners, as well as hospitals, universities, municipalities, school boards, and state and local government agencies statewide and across the southeast.

We take the highest pride in our ability to fulfill all project requirements, but our commitment to professionalism and excellence is demonstrated by our continued ability to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, building owners, and the public in general.

Our present staff includes three registered Professional Engineers, two senior designers, three electrical designers, and a complete staff of drafting, administrative and clerical support.

The office is equipped with the most up-to-date computer workstations, which are utilized extensively to maximize efficiency of operations. All project specifications are prepared from a carefully maintained Master Specification, with each individual project specification prepared to the specific needs of that project. This approach results in a coordinated project package which minimizes construction problems.
